Black Walnut Cake:
1 cup softened butter
1/2 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs

3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped black walnuts

Preheat oven to 325

greese & flour tube pan
cream together butter,shortening & sugar
beat in eggs 1 @ a time: combine flour baking powder and cinnamon
stir in the mixture alternately w/milk , add vanilla and walnuts .
